The objective of this exercise is to choose a solid, cut it apart, and recognize the cut fragments in a new composition that is more beautiful than the original form from which it was derived.

Spheres, cut and reassembled.

Process
Experimented with form and scale to finalize the design of the Fragments. Used styrofoam as the main material, coated it with 5 to 7 layers of joint compound, and sanded it for a clean finish.
