The objective of this exercise is to form an organic shape carved out of plaster that bulges out and moves gesturally outwards.

Experimented with form and scale using plasticine.

Process

Experimented with form and scale to finalize the design of the plaster composition. Carved out a volume of plaster to achieve the desired form and sanded it for a clean finish.
